I've been fortunate enough not to ever be in a situation where I'm dating someone and I get an embarrassingly krapp gift...a gift that sucks so bad to the point where I have to use my very limited acting skills to convince the girl that I'm not disappointed.

I've never been big on gift receiving or giving. I feel like major holidays like Christmas, Valentines Day and so on have become more about the pressure to get people good gifts than the significance and/or meaning of the holiday itself. It's made me feel very jaded towards holidays to say the least. More Here...

Perhaps I should revise the title of this post because it won't necessarily deal with sex....but I won't because it's also a Borat reference. There, I said it.

Anyway, I always wondered what music/songs/artists people put on when they think of their special person. I've only had this conversation with friends briefly, and for straight "getting in the mood music" we always arrived at a consensus of Barry White. My personal favorite is "Deeper and Deeper"; not because I find the song particularly romantic, more so because I find the song to be pretty amusing between :40 and 1:00. Although after that its a pretty sweet song if you listen to the words.Go Deeper..and Deeper...

Does Age Equate With Maturity?

My answer is absolutely not. Put I'll put my opinions aside for a moment.

I have a friend who is a self-described "grandpa chaser" (yuck, i know). Anyway, she's in her late 20s and routinely dates men in their early to mid-40s. I don't see anything wrong with the practice, but it's her mentality that bothers me.

Early in our friendship I asked her why she exclusively pursued significantly older men. She told me something along the lines of "I value their experience. They're just a lot more mature." She went on to tell me that she refuses to date people her age or even a couple of years older because they pull things that much older men don't. More Here...

Lucky for me, I've never been in a situation where I had elders trying to keep me and a girl apart. I think that in part has to do with the fact that I seem to have a talent for charming adults. It's come in handy when dealing with law enforcement officials as well.

However, I know that not everyone is as fortunate as I am in this department. I have heard horror stories of couples being kept apart by the people who brought them in this world, as well as those who aren't bound to them by blood.More Here...

We've all had these moments in our lives. We're in our rooms with a guy or a girl about to do the horizontal mambo, and then something happens that ruins the mood as well as whole night. Whether its a parent walking in on you, a painting suddenly falling off the wall and hitting you in the nads or your girlfriend suddenly going "It's over.......and by the way, I'm pregnant." We've allllll had those moments.

I've certainly been on one side of the fence in moments like these. The amusing, laugh-my-ass-off side that is. I remember there was one Saturday night many years ago where I had nothing to do. So I called up my friend to see what he was up to. We'll call him....Mr. Ed. More Here...
